Description  Ideal for heavy ironing and craft work, this 1,400-watt steam-station iron has a separate, 30-ounce water tank to reduce effort while providing 90 minutes of continuous steaming. A flexible, 68-inch tube running from the generator base to the iron permits the base to be set on the ironing board or on the floor, and the tube pivots 360 degrees where it joins the iron to prevent tangles. The iron's stainless-steel soleplate is highly polished for a smooth glide. There's a variable steam control and a burst-of-steam button, and the iron steams vertically to press drapes and hanging garments. Equipped with an anticalcium filter to prolong the iron's life and an antidrip feature for when the temperature drops too low, the iron includes everything necessary for quality, convenient ironing. A rubber shield on the base allows the iron to be set on down safely when hot. With the iron in place, the steam station measures 14 inches long, 9 inches high, and 7-1/2 inches wide. .
